Dmitri Slabowski began his hairdressing apprenticeship in Fulda in 1997, passed his journeyman’s examination in 2000 and his master craftsman’s examination (Meisterprüfung) before the Kassel Chamber of Crafts in 2007. He opened his first salon in 2005; since 2009 the salon has been at home on Paul-Klee-Straße. That same year he became vice-chairman of the Fulda hairdressers’ guild.
His further training has centred on colour: diplomas in Painting and Color Sensation, the title Master of Color, and the colour seminars of La Biosthétique. He also holds a certificate in hair extensions and trained in updos with Georgy Kot, the discipline in which he won his award at the 2021 World Championship.
